Apple's Foldable iPhone, iPad Could Protect Its Display From Drops, New Patent Suggests

Apple's foldable smartphones may be in the works. Upcoming foldable iPhone and iPad units with thin glass displays could automatically protect themselves from drops, a patent application filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has indicated.
