Qualcomm Partners With Thales to Unveil iSIM for Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC as eSIM Alternative

Qualcomm has partnered with Thales to add iSIM or Integrated SIM capabilities into the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The functionality would replace traditional SIM cards as well as eSIM and is expected to reduce the manufacturing costs of handset makers.
